Bead & Pottery Works – 25 Days of Christmas Shopping in Lancaster County

If you are looking for a fun activity for children or even yourself to finish your Christmas Shopping, The Bead and Pottery Works is the place for you. My friend Sandy went there on Saturday wth her son & niece.

As fun Saturday activity, I decided to take them to The Pottery Works to make a personal gift for their grandparents plus one of their Aunts. Both of them had fun picking out their pottery to paint and then decide which color to paint their item. We painted the items and will go back a week later to pick up the items after the staff of the Pottery Works does the final finish on the items. You don’t even have to worry about messing up your cloths – I washed our clothing and the paint that had been splattered came right out with no problem.

If you are looking to make multiple gifts, they have a frequent visitors card that after the 5th piece made the studio fee is free on the 6th piece. The Pottery Works have a wide variety of items from smaller piece which are a few dollars to good size piece which start around $11 and go up from there.

I had taken my niece to The Beads Works for her birthday to make her own necklace. She really enjoyed both areas since she could be as creative as she wanted. So with 2 great activities in the same location you can’t go wrong with finding the perfect Christmas gift.
